Since I started a life with Special Education (about 6 years now), my attitude to life changed for the better. It

I was looking for some old files when I came across my SPED folder. I have so much to thank for the day I decided to pursue Special Education as that gave me the chance to meet all the beautiful people and experiences that made me who I am now. Paying forward is the best thank you that I could give to them.


With one of my students in the Mentally Challenged Class at City Central School, CDO. 90% o the students here have Down Syndrome.

Algebra Worksheets - Lesson 4


Lesson 4 is still Legal Moves, but this time it's for the red dices. Like in Lesson 3, what you do to one side of the balance (see that yellow board where they work on the jacks and dices? the picture is a balance scale.), you do the same to the other side. Take away one red dice on the left side, you take away one red dice on the right side - "take here, take there". Your control of error is that there is always a number value left on one side after taking away (subtraction) the same value from each side.
